The quote above cracked us up this weekend. James was enjoying throwing his food around the kitchen more than he was eating it, and we good naturedly said that James was being a punk. Ashlyn, hearing this, replied that no, Justin Bieber is a punk. The randomness of this made us laugh, as we didn’t know that she even know who Justin Bieber was.
PePa came over this weekend for some breakfast and while he was here we talked him into help build stairs for the trampoline. Ashlyn was excited and went up them right away. She was a little less sure about coming down the stairs, but Mom showed her how to do it and she was climbing up and down like a pro in no-time.
Uncle Bruce and Heidi came over this weekend so we could work on Mom’s car. While the guys were outside, the girls had a dance party and created a picnic inside the house. Heidi, as always, wore Ashlyn out. When it was time to go to bed, Ashlyn went straight up stairs and crashed with no books or pajamas.
And since this was a shorter week thanks to Memorial Day, we’re short on pictures. So here’s a few pictures that Mom took of the kids “playing” Candyland. James throws the cards around and Ashlyn lines them up on the board. But it’s fun for both of them, so who can argue?
