The Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza continued this week, starting with James in his class at school. Ashlyn didn’t get one for some reason but James seemed happy to share with his sisters. Isla appreciated it.
This weekend there were two primary Easter Egg hunts, the first taking place at Grandma and Grandpa Wolfe’s. Ashlyn and James tore up the backyard hunting for candy filled eggs and they still managed to keep enough of an appetite to eat dinner and some birthday cake. Isla primarily kicked back and watched the proceedings but she seemed entertained by it all.
Rains came through on Sunday morning so the Easter Bunny had to hide the eggs inside this year. That didn’t stop the kids from going crazy all over the house turning over anything they could lift in search of yet more candy. It will be a struggle this week pulling the kids off the ceiling before bed due to the Easter sugar intake.
