Isla turned four on Saturday and she was excited to leave three behind. All the grandparents, along with Ben and Sydney, came over to celebrate the occasion. There was swimming, a water balloon fight, and of course the piñata. The piñata was a unicorn at Isla’s request, and all the kids took turns destroying it with bats and sticks.
After the presents were unwrapped the kids dispersed around the house to play with the new toys. Several grandparents were also recruited for the activities.
On Sunday we asked Isla what she wanted to do to round out the birthday weekend. She chose Chuck E. Cheese. Isla had a lot of fun winning tickets with Ashlyn and James. They scored big this time, racking up over 1500 tickets to spend on prizes, most of which have already been lost as of the time of this writing.
