Easter, round 2...

"Why won't this fart?"
-Isla

Actual Easter came this weekend and the kids were treated to two more egg hunts, both filled with candy and toys.  The first one started at our house, the kids woke up after a sleepover in the movie room and tried to quietly stake out the yard without going outside.  They weren’t very quiet, so we woke up and let them fill their baskets with eggs.  Afterwards they traded back and forth for preferred toys, ate some candy, and then got ready to wish Aunt Lisa a happy birthday.

Aunt Lisa’s birthday fell on Easter this year and the family met up at a restaurant in Fort Worth to celebrate.  It was a great place, the food was good and there were plenty of games for the kids to play.  It was fun getting to say happy birthday while playing with the cousins.  Happy birthday Lisa!

The final Easter egg hunt of 2019 was at Grandma and Grampa’s house.  There were plenty of places to hide eggs in the backyard and it took the kids a while to find them all.  Afterwards we ate dinner and tried to keep the kids from eating too much candy.  We were unsuccessful, and we had three children with upset stomachs on the way home.  That’s just part of Easter.
