Soccer, Six Flags, and a belt testing…

"When I was a kid, I used to think pork chops and karate chops were the same thing."
-Shane Koyczan

James hasn’t been able to play soccer for a few weeks due to unfortunate timing in weather.  It tried to rain on us on Saturday, but we only got a little and the kids were able to play.  James did well, he kept with the ball and was getting into the mix of things.  While he did his soccer thing, Sydney and Isla played their own games.

This actually occurred a few weeks ago but I somehow missed posting it.  James went through belt testing for his Sr. Green belt and passed with flying colors.  No re-do’s needed.  Congrats James!

The last time we went to Six Flags the threat of lightening meant most of the rides were closed.  There were still a few closed this time due to it being opening weekend, but there was enough open for the kids to have a great time running around the parks on the rides.
