"H, I, J, K, Emma, Enno, P…"

Isla is still really into reading. She asks to do reading lessons instead of needing to be coerced into it, and she gets excited every time she learns a new letter or sound. At the rate she’s going, she’ll be more than prepared for Kindergarten next year.
The tree in the front yard was due for a trimming and the kids were happy to help after we told them they didn’t have a choice. We cut and bundled what seemed like half the tree, although the kids stopped helping halfway through to make crafts out of the sticks.
Isla and James found a magnet kit at the library and brought it home to play with. We’re not sure how much they actually learned from the experience, but it kept them entertained for a while so we have no complaints.
