"Life is like a roller coaster, live it, be happy, enjoy life."
-Avril Lavigne
Isla has reached the stage that I like to call “underfoot”. Essentially this is when she is everywhere and we have to be careful when we turn around in case a baby is stalking us.
The kids don’t seem to mind so far. That may change as the novelty wears off and they realize they can’t play games on the floor anymore without a curious Isla coming over to see what’s going on.
On an unrelated note, here are the two sides of Ashlyn.
This was a special week for Ashlyn and Mom. The girls took a trip, just the two of them, to Six Flags where Ashlyn had a blast riding everything she was tall enough to ride. She even tried to ride the Shockwave, the one that goes in a loop, but was turned away at the last minute. Someone yelled “Let her ride!” from a few cars back but apparently it did not sway the attendant. Oh well, they still had a blast riding the smaller roller coasters and rides. The only one she didn’t care much for was the Conquistador, but from what I heard she had a great time overall. I think the pictures back that up.
When it was over she quickly crashed in the car once it started moving. She woke up just as quickly when they got home and she and James ran around in their Super capes.
We celebrated a late Mother’s Day dinner with the Wolfe clan this weekend and as always there was plenty of food, wine, and laughter to go around.
