Halloween 2015…

"Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble."
-Macbeth

This was a week of ghosts, goblins, lambs, and candy.  There were two main events this week, the first was the Fall Festival held at Ashlyn’s new school.  It’s usually held outside but everything was moved inside because of the rain.  It was a bit crowded but that didn’t stop the kids from checking out all the activities and playing on the bounce houses.  Ashlyn met her friend Brooklyn and the two were inseparable for most of the outing.

And then of course was Halloween.  We let the kids pick out their costumes this year.  Ashlyn went with a pink Power Range, James was a Thomas engine (shocker) and Isla was a fuzzy lamb that had everyone saying “Awww” wherever we went.  The neighborhood really turned out this year, there were more kids and families out and about than we’ve ever seen.  The kids had a blast and filled their baskets full of sugary treats which we now need to stealthily get out of the house.
